Northeast Taekwondo is a martial arts school that exists to provide the community with a safe, educational and viable opportunity to learn and practice the traditional art form of Tae Kwon Do. At Northeast Taekwondo, we take an inclusive approach to education, believing that all students can learn, no matter what limitations present themselves.

We also foster camaraderie, support, and good sportsmanship among our students. We work with people of all ages from 3+. The concept of community and village-based learning and development is essential to our programs.
Students of all backgrounds and abilities are able to engage in a safe learning environment where they can develop in three specific categories of growth:

Athletic/Physical:
Students develop and enhance athletic abilities such as coordination, balance, speed and strength.

Character:
Students learn the 5 principles of Taekwondo- Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. Students learn that these principles are carried with them forever.

Social:
Students learn to use sportsmanship and teamwork in their daily activities and classes. Students also actively practice using respect, emotional control, and thoughtful words and actions when implementing conflict-resolution into their daily lives.
